| Technical Description |
The IP9 Hardened Connector M length closure is an IP68 dome closure manufactured from UV stable polypropylene with a base configuration of 8 IP9 ports and 1 oval port. The IP9 ports are configured with SC/APC simplex adaptors and the oval port accommodates a cable diameter range of 4.0mm to 15.0mm (LM Port) when using cablelok mechanical seals.
The closure mounting system is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel and supports 2 Hellapon Small splice trays and a fibre storage basket. The lower Hellapon Small tray is fitted with a single 3A splice bridge and a PLC splitter bridge which houses a 1:8 bare end to SC/APC PLC splitter, the top tray is fitted with 2 x 3A splice bridges. The outputs from the PLC splitters are routed off the tray and fitted into the SC/APC adaptors. The base has an integrated closure mounting point which can be used with the FRBU moulded mounting brackets for mounting on a wall, pole or Mobra arm and allows the cover to be removed and the closure to stay in place during installation or maintenance. |
